Bank of light switches in Lake House

Bank of light switches in Lake House

Reflecting the age of the building, a decaying bank of light switches sits affixed to a moldy wall. Note that the third switch from the right is a newer switch, indicating it had been replaced at some point recently. It must have been a pain in the ass to replace, considering how many screws are holding the cover in place. Also, what's up with the one switch off to the side by itself? Is it waiting for a special invitation to join the others? And also, are any of the switches not "on" in the up position?
