Eerily appropriate novelty sign

I thought this sign was quite cute, really, but the fact that he lived his life this way makes it quite sad. Behind the sign you can see a book titled "How to get Original Ideas". I also took this book (I had permission), and later on found inside the book a personal note from the author wishing the house's owner good luck as an inventor.
