Hockey markings on the ice rink slab

Hockey markings on the ice rink slab

When an ice rink is marked, such as with lines for hockey, the lines are always painted under the ice. Here you can see the lines painted on the concrete slab that would be below the ice. As much as I love hockey, this rink was too small to really properly play hockey. Perhaps it would suffice for a pee-wee game though. There were no grandstands, however.
