Irony: Success magazine in a failed hotel

Irony: Success magazine in a failed hotel

There are two ways to look at this: either they shouldn't have spent so much time reading magazines about success instead of trying to achieve success themselves, or they should have read the magazine for tips on how to succeed! The full title of the magazine is "New Jersey Success" magazine. This was the November 1989 issue, and it was addressed to Howard S Weiner, apparently an employee (or more likely manager) of the resort. The cover story is "Who's best for business?" and pits Rep. James Florio head-to-head vs. Rep James Courter in the 1989 New Jersey Gubernatorial race. Florio won the Governor's seat. Today, Florio is on the board of directors for Trump Entertainment Resorts, and Courter is chairman of the IDT corporation - so it stands to reason they both have been quite successful over the last 20 years.

hey - you seem to have explored this place well with an attention to objects - is there a spot in this hotel with a cache of 20 year old garbage - (and by garbage - I mean things like chip bags and candy wrappers...food debris - see my pics and you will understand)

What you see here is pretty much all I shot at Grossinger's, but I think you might like what's posted here:

yikes - wow - have you ever been there - I would have to think that 7 years later that that place must be trashed even more or burnt down -
do you have any more info...
