Bent fence poles

Bent fence poles

Here is a farther shot of the now-collapsed rear porch. If you look in my other photo gallery, you can see that there, was, in fact, a rather nice covered porch here. Another reason I took this shot was to show the bent fence. At first I thought that vandals probably entered the property by storming the fence, and then bent it during the leap. In retrospect, I'm not so sure -- look at the way the post is bent. I'm starting to think it was probably bent like that while the installers were driving the post, and the owners just said, "forget it, just keep going." I figure they were probably driving the post when it hit rock, or some other object underground. They probably kept trying to force it, and ended up bending it to hell.
