Street closed sign at Palace Amusements

Street closed sign at Palace Amusements

An imposing temporary chain link fence sits behind a wooden barricade blocking the street behind the old abandoned Palace Amusements building. The sign once read "Street Closed 1000 ft" but the distance has been buffed out so it would make sense here. Asbury Park's highway department was probably a bit cash strapped so they just reused an old sign because they were out of "Road Closed" signs.
