Elevator control and compressor boxes

As this building is not very tall, the elevators are driven by hydraulics. A sign on the left, apparently saturated with hydraulic oil, reads "Warning: do not use radio equipment inside machine room." Apparently, this would seem to indicate that the control circuitry is quite vulnerable to RF interference, a somewhat unsettling thought.
