Rust chip steel train bridge
Just after leaving Secaucus Junction southbound on the Pascack Valley / Main Line towards Hoboken, you will pass over this bridge very slowly. The bridge shows decades of wear. The Rivets have completely rusted away in some places. A coast of metallic chips form the exposed surface of the bridge. A thick steel rope spans the length, with some carabiners attached, providing fall arrest for any workers that actually do maintenance out here.
