Rusted Frigidaire motor
Like many desolate areas, Blauvelt State Park is subject to the wrath of dumpers. This Frigidaire refrigerator motor has likely been here for quite some time.

This is actually an automotive air conditioner compressor, I do believe. Please note the V belt pulley drive and rather bulky clutch/pulley mechanism.
Frigidaire has made automotive refrigeration equipment in the past.

That's right, these are A6 compressors. GM used them from 1962 to the late seventies and those made before 1976 were badged as Frigidaire. In 1976, GM split it's automotive a/c (it was now called Delco Air) and it appliance division and GM sold Frigidaire a few years later. GM also sold these Frigidaire A6 compressors to some European car brands.
