Pines Hotel sandwich shop back area

A rotary phone in the kitchen of the sandwich shop near the Persian Room. Also note the simulated melted candle wax on the lamp next to the phone. One thing interesting about this eating area was that (at least for the bulk of the time it was there) it was not kosher, like the rest of the hotel. Once, I was served a BLT, and when we inquired about the separate kitchens, the server described the other kitchen as "kosher as a ham sandwich".
