Another fireplace in the Jacobson House
Another room with a fireplace in the Jacobson House was filled with debris, including a steel desk and steel file cabinet. A steel grille that likely covered the fireplace is set to the side on the right, indicating that this fireplace remained active until the building closed. Other fireplaces around the facility in other buildings tended to be sealed off and remained for decorative reasons only. It is somewhat interesting that a home built around the warmth of fire finally succumbed to arson.
